Well, I finally got around to making the jump to a domain in 2002. After tripod reduced free space from 50 to 20 megs I had to delete some of my cosplay photos and needed to find them a new home. I have had my convention pictures on the web for years, first on geocities then tripod and now here. Most of my convention pictures and costume contest masquerade video will be from anime conventions, but I have gone to DragonCon several times to add a bit of variety.
I will be the first one to admit a lot of my costumes are not perfect, but I did put a lot of hard work into the majority of them. I have had a couple of inquiries from people asking if I would make them costumes or accessories - at this time I would have to decline. I think costumes being sold should be error free, and I admit I still make the occassional mistake.
After reading my descriptions, you will see a lot of my costumes are done without patterns. This can be a pain sometimes, but I am large and don't have an hourglass figure - so even if I can find a similiar style pattern I usually have to modify it quite a bit to fit me. I definitely would recommend any odd shaped person to get a dressform - it has made pattern alteration or pure designing on the fly so much easier.
