Anyone who was on floors 8-11 Sunday morning knows what these pictures are of - thats right, its fire alarm pics. I was rooming with another staffer on the 8th floor, we had just gotten to lay down at 4am. At 4:30am, the fire alarm went off. I was awake immediately, thinking it was the alarm for the morning staff meeting til I saw the flashing lights that went with the alarm. Had to convince Brooke to get up, and down the stairs we went. Got outside and only saw game room staffers besides us (other staffers were on seventh floor so they didn't hear alarm). When all clear was given we went into lobby to see what was going on, and found one more staff member from ops. Brooke and ops spoke with hotel and found out alarm was sounded from someone smoking in stairwell. Brooke headed up the stairs to inform rest of staff on 7th floor what had happened, I stayed in the lobby until it cleared out to make sure no more issues (nothing besides 2 guests fussing at front desk guy). Most people went back to sleep, but a few souls decided it was a good time to practice DDR.
